Hitching out
Hitchhiking is pretty common in Belgium, especially in the North, so you won't have a difficult time.
Northeast towards Eindhoven, southwest towards Antwerpen
The highway E34 located south of the city connects Antwerpen to Eindhoven. From the train station you can take bus 305, 490 or 492 until the stop Turnhout Oprit Brug E34, which is located just before the entrance to the highway.
