You can go walking An alternative way to get to Austria by passing /Vienna is to walk across the pedestrian bridge in devinska nova ves ( the Devinska Nova Ves district of Bratislava). Beware however that the Austrian side of the bridge is mostly countryside without much traffic, although there's a direct road to Vienna.
