There's quite a lot of traffic on both roads but the spot on the new road is a lot easier for cars to stop. People on both roads will tell you to go to the other spot. There is an online community of hitchhikers where you can find rides from Prishtina towards other cities in Kosova, as well as Tirana (Albania) and Skopje (Macedonia). The community has more than 13k active members and this is a great chance to reserve a drive a day ahead.
