Its extremely easy to get a ride to Malmö from Lund. If you walk or bike south on södra storgatan (from Stortorget)you will find one of the best hitchhiking spots I ever have come across. Continue south (straight forward) when the street change name to Malmövägen until the first curve of the street at st Larsparken (thats about 15 minute walking from stortorget). After that right curv (turn) you will see a busstop after 150 meters. The cars have to drive very slowly there and they will see you in good time advance if you stand close to that busstop (where the cars can stop).. I have used that spot more than 20 times and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes! Good luck!
