I havent tested it myself just have been told by an experienced german hitchhiker.
Take the Metro to KahlbachKalbach, there is a tool-store called "Hornbach" nearby. Close to it there is a petrol station called Hessol, which is close to A5. As it is cheap it is frequently used and you should get a ride from there.
