Connecticut is a state in the United States.
Hitchhiking along I-95 is not difficult as Connecticut maintains a very nice system of rest stops and service plazas across the state; it's also possible to exit-hop. Walk onto one and put your thumb out and you shouldn't have to wait long for a ride. In addition, several New York-Boston bus lines (Chinatown to Chinatown, 15 US$) make stops at the Fairfield service plaza (exit 21), and it is possible to talk your way on for free or a reduced price if you're a good negotiator.
Watch out for mosquitos and black flies in the north east, the mosquitos can be ravenous.
People are very friendly in Connecticut for the most part. There is a pretty high ratio of rich stuck up yuppies though.

I was extremely impressed with Connecticut while hitchhiking through. I wasn't here long enough to make a definite determination, but along with Rhode Island, this was the easiest place I have ever hitchhiked. I rarely waited longer than 2 or 3 minutes for rides!Thewindandrain (talk) 00:20, 16 November 2013 (CET)
