This option cost 3.5 Yuan and it's pretty good on === North to the Great Wall ===The cheapest and easy easiest to reachoption is the part between Jinshanling and Gubeikou.Take bus number 980 to the subway line 2 last stop called Miyun (the blue line16RMB, Nov 2017) . There will be loads of taxis offering to "Changchunjie drive you but you can also just walk from the bus station", it cost 2 Yuanto the road going to Gubeikou.get Walk out on of the NORTH WEST EXIT, cross the road bus station take a right and then go to a left on the inner lane from bigger crossing. Here you can either start hitching or walk a bit further till the right where you will see planty of next traffic light. Around here people waiting for the bus, Don't worry most of them will not go with always ask you on the same bus :). search for buses 661 and 662 and go aboard show, money so be sure to have a paper where it writen down the name "Dujiakan Roundabout" translation of what you are doing. Once you are in Chinese and show it Gubeikou you have to pass the lady whom police check point and walk for about 200m until you gonna pay 1see a street going left towards some neighborhood of Gubeikou.5 Yuan for Always walk straight until the rideroad will eventually turn to dirt road.get of The road ends with a house. The trail starts right before the house to the bus left. Follow this trail and you are now in a parrel street to will eventually hit the Highway, cross Great Wall. The Trailhead as well as the street and access point are marked on the lef turn MAPS.me. You can walk here for about 4km on the roundabout to wall for free until you will be asked by the direction ticket officer of the tollgate with Jinshanling part for your ticket (after having left the blueroof, when you pass it you'll be on wall because of the highway stand close to the toll gate which is on the highway military zone). You can just walk out and you'll have a good spot hitchhiking hitch back fromJinshanling to Beijing. sign (The entire walk is not a good idea about 10km but very easy walk and wave your hand from up to downbeautiful scenery). It Stand close to the toll gate which is about 5on the highway and you'll have a good spot hitch-10min walk hiking from LEO.Having a sign is not a good idea, better wave your hand up and down. Go out of tue north east exit, head right(east) towards the highway. You will reach a fenced golf course, you can climb in and across (we even found a breach in the fence) or go around the golf course to reach the toll both. From there you are on G2. Have a note in Chinese explaining who you are, what you are doing and that you want to stay on the high way at gas stations or toll booths. This spot is still actually in 2017 but the security guard of the golf course was not that happy to see us.  ==== Option 2 ====Take the Yizuang line to Tongjinanlu. From there you have to walk southeast along tong ji nan lu (同济南路) for 2,3 km until you reach Xing hua zhong jie (兴华中街) where you have to turn left and follow the road for 600 m. You will see the highway and there is a entrance to go onto a service station with a restaurant and gas station ([39°45′32.12″N 116°33′21.92″E](https://www.google.com/maps?q=39%C2%B045%E2%80%B232.12%E2%80%B3N+116%C2%B033%E2%80%B221.92%E2%80%B3E)). There you can stop cars ask around or if nothing works you can also take a bus from there to everywhere as they are stoping for a break and to pick up and drop off people. But it should not be necessary as there is a lot of traffic going through.
