::: If I understood you right, we keep on categorizing countries primarily by Western Asia and such but not by Middle East which is very puzzling according to the map: ---->----------------->---------------->----------------------------->---------------------------->
::: Anyways, I think we can continue keeping :Category:Middle East and Middle East page and categorize by it in addition to main categories :Category:Western Asia, :Category:Northern Africa, :Category:Eastern Africa, :Category:Southern Asia and :Category:Central Asia (these unite all the countries in the Middle East by any definition of a latter one). However, if we want to use Middle East in the IsIn template, then creating :Category:Middle East (Asia) and :Category:Middle East (Africa) would be inevitable as otherwise it will be showing that Middle East is only in either Africa or Asia. So, I see we can either restrain from using Middle East within IsIn template, or create these categories and use them accordingly.--Sigurdas 17:05, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

::::Jep, keeping the :Category:Middle East additionally seems a good option. Also, about the IsIn, we could use like Western Asia -> Countryname, so no problem with categorizing more specific (Middle East (West), Middle East (East), etc) ;-) --Platschi 10:40, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
