You can find a lot of offers for ride shares at [http://www.prevoz.org prevoz.org/], in Slovenian only. You need to register in order to view the contact details. Car sharing is widespread among Slovenian students, the majority of which migrate weekly between their hometowns and university cities (Ljubljana, Maribor, Koper, Nova Gorica). The prices are normally fair. The unwritten rule is that a ride covering about a 100 km should not cost more than 5 €, which is cheaper than public transport.
