:Yeah, sure, I've had rides from truckers when I was hitchhiking with someone else (in Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Argentina, Oregon, New Zealand, Australia and China). But still, I think going to a place with merely trucks to find a ride for 2 people is a mistake when there is another option, especially in "civilized" places where truckers aren't allowed to take more than 1 by-passenger. Maybe there is a better way to phrase it in the main article though. :) --guaka<small>site, wikitalk</small> 10:46, 16 May 2008 (CEST)

:: I think it is no mistake too... rather hitchhiking with the wrong people (guys that look doggy or avoid eye contact for example...). So all the lifts you would get are turned down when people look to your hitchhiking partner... so you end up sending you partner to the toilet and organize a lift in the meantime... ;) --Alex 23:59, 16 May 2008 (CEST)
