Changes

The spot is not ideal though as cars are going quite fast, but offers good visibility, plenty of space to pull over and a lot of traffic passing by. The first peaje (toll station) is another 15km down the road.

We, as a couple (f/m), waited here for an hour until we got a ride to the toll station that, as mentioned above, are great places to hitchhike on from (April 2018).
