Mh, the new box with regions on the left destroys the main page quite somewhat on smaller screens. I preferred sorting Russia in the box made today, looked pretty sorted to me. Maybe we can just move the box up, e.g. above the news? We could add the Russian-speaking nations also below the box then, as well.

:I fixed the problem with the font-size and deleted some code that was of no use. Put the Russia box over the news and hiding the event box, as it is of no use right now. users can also click on Текущие события. Put the Ex-USSR nations below the continents.
