Safety

The people of Woking are relatively harmless and generally won't give you much bother. You should still keep your wits about you though, as all it takes is for drunk person to make a comment or start talking to you and you could get caught in a virtual feeding frenzy of comments, It is best to run at this point.

Places to stay.

There are a few good "pay-to-stay" places in town, but I will focus on the free places. There are numerous illegal places to camp down and sleep rather comfortably. I would suggest though that if you want a proper place to stay the night, then just steal and eat something from subway, then spend a night in the cells.

Food and drink.

Fast food is abundant here with lots of places offering buffets for around a fiver, and indeed you can eat well with £5 or less so busking is definitely an option. However there are opportunities to get free food if you go into pizza hut express.

Things to do

look at local architecture. Argos is very good as you can take as many free Argos catalogs as you want.

Useful objects

Argos catalogs These are especially useful for a few key reasons 1. They are brick shaped and can be used as a rough building material. 2. They are free and you can take as many as you want. 3. They can be read to help alleviate boredom. 4. They are made of paper and can be used as kindling or emergency bog roll. 5. Due to their many uses, you could always sell them to gullible tourists.

Caution- Argos catalogs weigh quite a lot so only carry two at a time if you have to.

Towels Towels are useful because they are the equivalent of a fabric multitool. A decent large white Towel can in essence do all of the following.

1. Be used as anything cloth or fabric (e.g. clothing, blankets, pillows, rope, sling, groundsheets) 2. Be used to protect something from damage 3. To cause damage 4. To use as a surrender flag 5. To get yourself seen & noticed
