Wittlich is a small town in the federal state Rheinland-Pfalz in the very west of Germany. The main rail station is not inside of the town, but in Wengerohr, about 4 km outside of the town.

Hitching Out

Any direction

From the city center you can walk until you will find a petrol station on the right side. You can ask there or place youself on the bus stop right after the traffic light. A sign is useful here, waiting time will be around 40 minutes.

North-East (Koblenz)

You can use the place discribed above (which might be a bit safer, because cars can easily stop) or you walk to the highway entrance ramp in direction Koblenz and place yourself there. Cars can also stop here and you will only get the traffic which is really going the right way. Usually this spot will work a bit better.
