Weimar is a little picturesque city in the middle of Germany, where Goethe, Schiller and others lived.
It contains now the famous Bauhaus University and a music college.
Hitchhiking out
Westward Direction (Frankfurt am Main, Kassel, Eisenach)
To reach autobahn A4 take bus 6 direction LEGEFELD and get of at EINKAUFSZENRUM HUMBOLDTSTRASSE. Walk a little and stop near the main road. People driving there are locals but the can take you until the autobahn interchange. You have to wait between 5 and 30 minutes.
To the East (Dresden, Berlin)
Same thing, but when you are near the highway just cross the road.
