Welcome to Hitchwiki. Thanks for your additions on Canada, but please don't write in first person on Hitchwiki ("I've hitched here a dozen or so times"). On a community-edited site like a wiki, it is not clear who "I" is. If you must specify that something is one's person's personal experience (which is rarely necessary, really), then please write in the third person and link to your username. Okay, got it :)

Again, there is little need to mention yourself personally here. Please just write in an anonymous, third-person tone and keep your advice generalized. Also, visa information is better left to Wikivoyage, where it is likely to be updated by knowledgeable people on a more frequent basis: this kind of information can stick around on Hitchwiki for years after it is no longer valid. So, please move your visa experience to that sister wiki site. CRCulver (talk) 15:16, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

Sorry! I completely forgot. My apologies.

Bhutan traveling

Sorry hitchwiki and probably PhysicsHipster, I cannot find out how to do this in any other way.

I am in a quite interesting point of my eternal travel: I'm in chengdu and my hope was to get to Tibet, from there to Nepal and further to India.

Well, the border between Tibet and Nepal is closed and I'm not sure if I've the balls to jump in without the permissions. Either way, I was stunned with your picture hitchin in Bhutan. How did you manage your way inside? This is a potential adventure! --- Hey, thanks for the message. The borders are pretty tight around that part of the world, as I'm sure you're aware. Definitely don't go through without permission, as you could get in serious trouble and also won't be allowed to leave future countries if you don't get stamped in. I know the Kyrgyzstan-China border is open, if you want to do the long way around. There are no open borders between India and China, nor Bhutan and China as far as I know. I think you might be able to get in through Burma as well. Caravanistan might have some better info.

As for Bhutan, here's a summary of how I got in. It took a lot of work and luck, but yes, it was an incredible experience :) https://www.reddit.com/r/travel/comments/zkl29/i_spent_2_weeks_in_the_kingdom_of_bhutan_with_no/
