You might also want to check the other languages for the same problem... Also, using the monobook CSS, you cannot delete anything (de and ru, and possibly others) - I'm sorry to say, but I personally loathe the new "Hitchwiki" css... If you look at the [http://hitchwiki.org/pl/index.php?title=Specjalna:Ostatnie_zmiany&hidebots=0 Polish recent changes] for 2012-12-24, you will see that there were 12 bogus registrations in just 7 minutes. Can we please do something about this. There must be a way to link them to specific IP addresses, and although it may hit innocent bystandes, maybe we should start blocking more than just the single IP address, and directly go for 255, i.e. aaa.bbb.ccc.*
I might also be useful to remove the ability to register on any of the non-English wiki's - just put up a note that "due to whatever...." people must register on the English one, but can then login on any of the others as well.
Finally, why can't we make registration a manual process: people register, provide an email address, and one of the Admins can activate the account. Clicking on something to activate them would take far less time than blocking them and then going via the Special Pages to the Recent Changes Cleanup to hide two entries in the change log...
