Hey there, I'm Jens. Coming from a pretty small village between Dresden and Leipzig right next to the river Elbe, I started hitchhiking a couple of years ago after I began to study in the pretty neat town of Dresden, yeah. So I just stayed besides the river to take a bath everyonce in a while, last time was on January the 15th :-D Whatever, hitchhiking rocks the world, hope to see some places a little further away soon!!
Hitchhiking experience
Europe: Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovenia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Austria
So it's not much, but the tour around the world is already in my head.

Personal records
- Longest Ride: 1440 km, from Barcelona, Spain to Nürnberg, Germany, In September 2008.
- Fastest Trip: 170 km in 1:15 including waiting times with 1 lift from Berlin to Dresden in June 2009.
- Longest distance on one day: 2350 km From Murcia to Dresden in September 2008..
- Fastest Lift: Some guy from Karlsruhe, driving up to 260 km/h on the German A5 or German A67, they're right next to each other.
- Worst waiting time: 8 Hours on the gas station in Granada to go back home in September 2008. But yes, it is still recomendable. At the end, there was somebody straight to Murcia.
- Most unexpected: 990 km from Dunkerque, France to Dundee, UK in one night with like 8 or 9 people.
