- Longest wait: 6hrs at a gas station in Croatia close to the Serbian border but eventually a truck stopped on the highway
- Shortest wait: 10 Minutes in Montenegro close to the Albanian border
- Longest ride: 1000km from the border Croatia/Serbia to Istanbul with a Turkish truck driver
- Easiest country for hitchhiking: Taiwan
- Scariest experience: 2 Italian guys picked us up near Bari (we wanted to go to Naples) and invited us to lunch before they started smoking weed and closing their eyes for fun while driving and speed racing on the highway. I almost cried, insisted to get out of the car and by luck a bus to Naples just stopped at the gas station. We got in the bus and saw how the 2 guys paid for the tickets
