Solo or not:
Started out, mostly hitching solo. By convincing many friends about the joys of hitchhiking has teamed up many times with unexperienced hitchhikers.
Fun Facts
- First time: Switzerland - Netherlands --> 2004; 830 km, done in 2 days with a stopover in Frankfurt am Main. With just a map from Lonely Planet, no idea, some luck and lots of naivety.
- Longest ride in 1 car: Przemysl - Berlin --> 820 km.
- Hitched a ride with a boat in the canals of Utrecht.
