The Montenegro-Albanian border crossing is between the cities of Ulcinj on the Montenegro side and Shkoder on the Albania side. One can walk across this border on foot. The border crossing is fairly primitive and offers no amenities such as an ATM, toilet, or shop.

After walking across the border, stand about 25 meters down the road where all traffic leaving the border post will pass you. A sign reading "Tirana" is essential.
