Ulcinj is a city in Montenegro, the southernmost large community on the coast and a common gateway to the border crossing to Albania.

Hitching out

Northeast to Albania

The road that goes towards the border crossing to Albania is a minor one, and it isn't even signposted for Albania. At the first roundabout after entering the town from the north, take the left road marked Vladimir. The border crossing is 30 kilometers away. Most traffic here is local (cars have registrations beginning with UL for "Ulcinj"), but a combination of short lifts and walking will get you to the border crossing. .
