The road that goes towards the border crossing to Albania is a minor one, and it isn't even signposted for Albania. At the first roundabout after entering the town from the north, take the left road marked ''Vladimir''. The border crossing is 30 kilometers away. Most traffic here is local (cars have registrations beginning with UL for "Ulcinj"), but a combination of short lifts and walking will get you to the [[Montenegroulcinj-Albanian Shkoder border crossing|border crossing]].
