Hitching out

North/Northwest

Downtown on Avenue Habib Bourgiba there is a roundabout with a big clock, very easy to find and everybody knows it. Walking away from the city centre on the avenue take the first street left. You will find yourself under the main highway passing through Tunis. The street you are on leads to the ramp onto the highway. Pretty much all the traffic here is headed that way,

South/Southwest

Downtown on Avenue Habib Bourgiba there is a roundabout with a big clock, very easy to find and everybody knows it. Walking away from the city centre on the avenue take the first street to your right. You will find yourself under the main highway passing through Tunis. This street leads to a ramp onto the highway and all the traffic on this street after the roundabout will most likely be heading your direction. Very easy to get lifts.

It's easy enough to get into Tunis as the highway passes by the city centre.
