Tarbes is a city in southwest France.

Hitchhiking out

East towards Toulouse A 64 E 80

You can reach the toll to go on the A64 by foot. Go to the city of Séméac and follow the D817. Just after walking on top of the highway, take right at the first roundabout, then right again at the second: here is the toll. Your hitchhiking spot is just before it where cars slow down and can stop [1].

Be careful to ask Toulouse, a lot of people only go to Lannemezan, in this case they will drop you out of the highway.

South towards Bagnères-de-Bigorre (Pic du Midi)

By bus (1€)

T12 Soues

Take the bus T12 towards Barbazan-Église and get down at Diverchy (it's a "Flexo" stop so you have to notify the driver to stop there) : 4 times a day

Clinique de l'Ormeau

T1 or T7, stop down at "Clinique de l'Ormeau". At the roundabout, take the street that goes out of the city, there's a carwashing on the opposite side. Juste after the entrance of the parking of the clinic, there's a place with quite often some trucks but a lot of space to park.

By foot

Tarbes is quite a small city so everything is mostly walking distance. Go south to the "Clinique de l'Ormeau". At the roundabout, take the street that goes out of the city, there's a carwashing on the opposite side. Juste after the entrance of the parking of the clinic, there's a place with quite often some trucks but a lot of space to park.
