Hitched from Taos to the Earthship Biotecture and back with absolutely no problem. Maybe waited 5-10min for rides. One of the easiest places in the US.

Taos is a city in New Mexico. It is a major hitchhiking mecca, perhaps the most popular place to meet fellow hitchhikers outside of highway US101 in California. You will see travelers here year round.
