Hey, just one thing about the German autostop stickers: As far as I experiences is that these stickers have a very short durability. Once placed one at Auetal service station, several weeks later it already disappeared. Option 1: Somebody removed it, option 2 (and more logical): They are not - in any way - weather resistence. I would love to let some new once print somewhere, with better paste than the Spucki's we're actually using. Anyone interested in creating a nice designed sticker? (or using the old one, which in some ways is quite nice! but a) who made them and b) are they open source?). I would volunteer to pay the first costs and business of printing, and then we can spread them around hitchhikers worldwide :) let's start it! Platschi 18:26, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

/edit: Same like the Auetal sticker happened to the one I placed once on my home-ramp in Hörstel, just days later it was gone.

Yes, you are right. The Spickies have been, as far as I know, a wrong order and we have not been very happy about the quality. It is also a very good idea to print and distribute some new ones. What about getting more people active with this? So instead that just one person designs a new sticker, we make a little contest out of it. All the designs are released into the public and can be used. But the hitchhiking community also votes after that for the best design. So we have also to look for a nice price for the first best one (e.g. make 1000 stickers and distribute them for free?)... What do you think? --Alex 09:06, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
I googled a little about stickers. Looks like the ones that are weather resistant are about 8 EUR a piece :/ --MrTweek 09:26, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Hihi, thanks for the enthusiasm. :) However, I think we do not have to promote vandalism and go for the hardcore version anyway... ;) There should be normal stickers that are good enough, just look around what you can find around you... there are stickers outside for ages... or at least a lot longer than the Spuckies... --Alex 09:56, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Looks like typographus.de sells them (5cm*10cm) for 0,50 EUR a piece, if you order 100. 0,32 EUR if you order 1000. Sound very good to me. If someone makes a nice logo, I can order some and re-sell them non-profit. --MrTweek 10:29, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
