: I think a good idea to add to it would be "Don't hitch here" points, rather than just a point being rated as bad. Maybe an X or something to get the point across, because on a few occassions (Gent is a good example) I thought I had found the obvious hitching spot only to walk down the onramp for 30 minutes and then realizing that there was nowhere to stop and having to go somewhere else after walking all the way back.

::There is a link "Download as kml". This file contains all points in an xml-format. I managed to load this file into the googlemaps-java-applet (see http://maps.google.de/mobile/), but this was very slow and unusable on my mobile. Maybe it's faster for you, just try it.

::All you have to do is to enter the kml url (http://www.liftershalte.info/kml.php) into the search field in google maps. I don't know if other software can work with this file format, neither wether google maps supports gps.

Well I can't login anymore to that website? it doesnt take my username and password anymore (which pisses me off royally at the right moment); anyhow then the information description and support should be more described on this wiki and added to the 'project' part as otherwise you have no idea how to access these pages on the wiki!
