This page is a feeble attempt to start a discussion about what you might/need to do to keep track of your rides. If there is sufficient input to this, I might provide a detailed explanation as to what I have been doing to keep track of my rides, ever since I started doing some serious hitchhiking in 1980. :I have an analog logbook and a pencil. i write down for every single lift: from/to, age and gender of the driver or people in the car (sometimes you have guess age, so its not accurate), waiting time, nationality of driver and vehicle type (car, van, truck, caravan) and people hitchhiking with me. after finishing a trip, i count the kilometers with google maps and write kilometers, number of lifts and from/to in my hitchwiki log. --[[User:Quarim|Quarim]] 08:16, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

This page is a feeble attempt to start a discussion about what you might/need to do to keep track of your rides. If there is sufficient input to this, I might provide a detailed explanation as to what I have been doing to keep track of my rides, ever since I started doing some serious hitchhiking in 1980. I don't think I would be patient and precise enough to do it myself, but I've always been wondering how people meticulously keep track of all their rides. So, yes please, I'm curious! :) guaka 16:19, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

I have an analog logbook and a pencil. i write down for every single lift: from/to, age and gender of the driver or people in the car (sometimes you have guess age, so its not accurate), waiting time, nationality of driver and vehicle type (car, van, truck, caravan) and people hitchhiking with me. after finishing a trip, i count the kilometers with google maps and write kilometers, number of lifts and from/to in my hitchwiki log. --Quarim 08:16, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
