The politics of hitchhiking?

Some Anonymous user, an Israeli (like myself) nationalist had removed any mentioning of Palestinians or non-Israelis in this page, including the usage of a bus line which is not "Jewish" enough. I restored the "lost" bus line, and added Palestinian cities to the hitchiking destination list. I hope I did OK. I was really surprised that somebody takes it so personally that a hitchiker might want to take a bus together with non-Jews, or that he will want to hitchike after a visit to the Old City of Jerusalem.

This is ok. I think in the spirit of hitchhiking there should be no borders and people should never be threated by their nationality, religion or ethnic group. Of course we can not accept any kind of racism here. If you find anything more like this, correct it please. Most of the users here have probably never been in Israel, that's why nobody recognized this as racism. Would be great if you could keep an eye on the Israel-related articles from time to time. --MrTweek 12:25, 24 January 2007 (CET)
Is there a chance you will get for us one of these "This is an informative text, to endorsing any of this sides in the conflict" frames from wikitravel/wikipedia ? They seem to make people understand better that hitchiking is not about borders, but the other way around. Thanks.
