: I just made some research for the ferry connections from continental europe (France,Spain). The only company that seems to have any free passengers including is Brittany Ferries which includes 2 passengers with the ticket (from Rosscoff, France or Santander, Spain to Rosslare, Ireland). I talked to customer service and they told me: "You can either change it online or phone the Cork office. You cannot turn up with an additional passenger if they are not booked as this can cause problems at the port." [[User:Tobias|Tobias]] ([[User talk:Tobias|talk]]) 10:37, 10 March 2019 (UTC)

Is it possible to hitchhike TO Ireland? On boat, on ferries? Mirto 16:46, 3 August 2008 (CEST)

I tried on the ferry from Holyhead, but failed. You always have to pay for each person in the car, so people can't take you for free. Might be possible on a truck, if you are alone (which I wasn't). At the Fishguard ferry, it seems to be the same situation. From Liverpool it seems to be different, just google a bit.
I think Ryanair offers flights from London to Dublin for about 12 Euros --MrTweek 23:20, 3 August 2008 (CEST)
I just made some research for the ferry connections from continental europe (France,Spain). The only company that seems to have any free passengers including is Brittany Ferries which includes 2 passengers with the ticket (from Rosscoff, France or Santander, Spain to Rosslare, Ireland). I talked to customer service and they told me: "You can either change it online or phone the Cork office. You cannot turn up with an additional passenger if they are not booked as this can cause problems at the port." Tobias (talk) 10:38, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
