I know it is politically correct the way it is now, but also quite complicated. Can we just move the Article for PRC China to China? I mean, whoever goes to Taiwan will not search for China. I really prefer reality over some governments opinion. --MrTweek 15:57, 17 January 2012 (CET)

I agree. Besides Hitchwiki isn't big and diverse enough to have the quarrels that lead to these kind of naming policies. CRCulver 16:00, 17 January 2012 (CET)
Well, even hitchwiki is a "small" fish in the word wide web, we should respect historical and political facts given, even if we do or do not agree, and for sure not just to make it less complicated. We could redirect China to the PRC China article, but then should at least state at the top of that article if people are looking for the Republic with the same name, they should visit the Taiwan article. Kind of how they solved it on the English wikipedia with China. --Platschi 12:54, 18 January 2012 (CET)
