Editing and improving for Victoria and Vancouver Island is a frustrating experience. I've used Hitchwiki before and wanted to contribute back to the commons with hitching info about Vancouver Island. Unfortunately, everything seems to be "protected". I just wanted this to be a quick and easy experience to share my knowledge but my first experience hasn't been very welcoming. I have a fair amount of experience with wikis.

What should I do? I wanted to add info about Hitching up Vancouver Island from Victoria...
