Taldy-Kurgan is a city in Kazakhstan. Ex-capital of Taldy-Kurgan region and now integrated in Almaty region. Biggest city on the way from Almaty to Semey. Taldy-Kurgan produce up to 80-90% traffic on the way to Almaty.
Hitching Out
South towards Almaty
There is a roundabout in western part of the city. Western exit leads to Ush-Tobe. South-western exit leads to Almaty. The landmark is a gas station right between this exits. From roundabout take minibus #13 to the last stop. Then walk along the road a bit. There is a good position after little crossroads because of speed limit 60 km per hour.
