The TT course is a motorcyle race track on the Isle of Man.
The TT course is probably more likely to be done with a helmet and trying pubs along the way with the bikers (during TT) than random hitchhiking. The mountain is not to be tackled lightly as the weather can change significantly from hour to hour.
