Brnik is a town north-west from Ljubljana. There is the Ljubljana international airport, also known as Jože Pučnik Ljubljana airport. It is situated 26km away from Ljubljana, in direction of Kranj. This airport quite small, and serves as the hub of the Slovenian national carrier, Adria airways, as well as some low-cost airlines.

Hitching Out

Towards Ljubljana

As you leave the terminal, turn cross the parking lot and turn left. You will see on your right the airport access road. Walk till the car entrance (around 150m) and you can now decide: Either hitchhike there (the drivers have enough room to stop), or cross the road, walk a bit left and hitchhike there (again, enough room to stop). It's best to hold an LJ sign.

The bus ride to Ljubljana cost around 4.5 EUR.
