Saint-Brieuc is one the most important town in Britanny with Brest, Rennes, Lorient.

At the on-ramp of the highway, the waiting time varies between 30 and 90 minutes if it's raining. If you have courage, do not hesitate to go to a car in a fire stop and ask.. freely and simply.

Hitching Out

There is two diferent entrance for the N12 eath going in diferent direction and are accesible by less than 20min of walking from the center of the town just follow the sign.

East towards Rennes

At the end of Avenue Corneille it's the entrance of the highway, there is a traffic light there or just after you will find a small place where people can stop.

West towards Morlaix, Brest

You can hitchhike from the roundabout between Boulevard Sévigné and Boulevard Harel de la Noé or you can find a small parking just some metter after before the bridge

South towards Quimper, Lorient, Vannes

The best is probably the roundabout at the entrance of the D700 with a sign depending where you want to go, you can try Loudéac for Vannes or Lorient, and Quintin for Quimper and Carhaix you can also try by Guingamp to go south west see the direction for Brest. Have fun on the small road of Brittany and get a map.
