Whatever the Random Roads

cover proposal (bad quality)
cover proposal2 (bad quality)

Whatever the Random Roads is a proposed title for a hitchhikers magazine. The goal is to have it published twice a year, with a different theme for each issue (if there is enough content obviously). It will be edited through this wiki.

Website

Articles, news about the magazine, videos and a great workflow to help editing articles can be now found at randomroads.org.

Main idea

The main idea is to inspire fellow-travelers, share skills, tips and stories in all media-formats. A magazine is also a perfect way to help documenting and sustaining a vibrant subculture.

Each issue will have several recurrent features, some ideas so far include: a featured traveler, travel, country (or city), sharing-network (e.g. hospitality exchange, travel-learn), surviving in the (urban) jungle, how to travel no/low-budget etc... Issues will also contain specific city-information on hitchhiking spots, how to get food, free internet, where to sleep, etc., similar to the intention of the Hitchhiking Zine.

Discussion

If you want to participate, have questions, need help, want to now more or whatever, feel free to visit the Random Roads Forum where you can follow current discussions about the magazine.
