Pippa Bacca was an experienced hitch-hiking artist from Italy. Dressed up as a bride she was on a trip with her friend to promote world-peace and to show that trusting strangers increases peace. This trip they named 'Brides on Tour' and was going from Milan to Palestine. They started this trip on the 8th of March 2008.
Pippa went missing on the 31th of March of 2008 after she had left Istanbul. Her body was found dead in a forest near the town of Gebze in the northwestern province of Kocaeli in Turkey. Pippa Bacca her real name was Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo and she was 33 years old.
