Hitchhiking in the West Bank is not a great idea, bad things can happen and people are likely to carry guns. Especially not at dark.

Entering from Jordan

The border crossing procedure can be time consuming. guaka ended up on Israeli territory when it was already dark. You're not allowed to walk away from the border crossing (which is also a military base) so you are left to the taxi leeches. They try to charge 30 shekels for a very short ride.

On the normal road it was very dark, but with a torch and a German guy guaka managed to hitch a ride after 30 minutes.
