Changes

It has lots of sights, so you can expect many tourists there, especially during the school holidays. There is a lot of business in the town. Already in ancient times Ohrid was a important town on the road ''via egnatia'', which led from [[Rome]] to the former [[Istanbul|Constantinople]]. The influence of the different times and religions (muslim and orthodox christians) can be seen and makes this town very impressing.

Wherever you want to go, the best option is to walk out of the old town (away from the lake) you will pass a [[junction]] and there you can go straight, at the first fork you have to keep left, then there is a curve to the right, but you keep on walking until you reach the next major junction. Now you can walk left if you want to [[hitchhike]] to [[Struga]], or to [[Albania]], or you can walk straight if you want to hitch to [[Bitola]], [[Prilep]] or [[Greece]].
