Nevada is a state of the United States of America. It's illegal to hitchhike, but you can probably still try. Just beware of the cops.

The above statement is in direct disagreement with [1], which cites the Nevada Revised Statutes 484.065. That said, both opinions caution to beware of cops and some digihitch commenters go so far as to say they have been ticketed (though maybe for hitching incorrectly... who knows).

In Nevada you can go to jail for being high on marijuana. A D.U.I. is a misdemeanor, but "internal possession" is a felony even if you don't have any on you. ri-donkulous.

The above statement does not apply in Las Vegas. I lived there for 3 years, and by my experiences, if Metro catches you with less than an ounce, they'll probably ticket you and let you go, and the charges will probably be dropped before you ever are supposed to go to court, and Vegas' cops don't give a shit if you're high, as long as you're not being a pain in the ass.
