Myrtle Creek is a good hitchhiking spot at times but is usually at the whim of traffic as the flow can be quite sporadic. The on-ramps are perfect and the shoulder plentiful with space. Exit 103 and 108 both have camping spots but the latter is next to a river and provides more protection as well. Hitchhiking on 99E through this city is also extremely easy and will take no more than 15 minutes to get a ride.
