  • Option 1: Take Metro (2nd line Avtozavodskaya linija (Аўтазаводская лінія)) to the last station Kamennaya Horka (Каменная горка), get off, walk 50m (direction west) and hitch right from the bus stop.
  • Option 2: Take Metro (2nd line Avtozavodskaya linija) to Kamennaya Horka, get off and go west towards M9 (~2km). The spot is right after on-ramp from M9 to M6.

East, Southeast towards Mahileu, Babrujsk, Homel'

Alternatively, you can take bus #93 from the same station and get off right after it turns off from the motorway, walk a few hundred metres in the same direction with the traffic to the closest bus stop on the motorway to start hitchhiking from there.

An alternative is to take any public transport going to the airport of Minsk. It is outside the city on the road to Moscow. If you let yourself drop on the last turn before the airport, you are on a perfect spot and direct lifts to Moscow are not uncommon.

Southwest towards Brest, Poland

Take Metro to the Istytut Kul'tury(Институт Культуры) station (1st (blue) line), then take the bus #81c, #128c to Mikrarayon Yugo Zapad-1 (Микрорайон Юго-запад-1) stop, then take the bus #28, #90, to Pavarot na Malinauku (Поворот на Малиновку) stop, get out and walk 200m SW.

You can also take the bus #120 from aforementioned metro station Instytut Kul'tury to Mikrorayon Malinovka-9 (Микрорайон Малиновка-9) stop and then cross the junction and walk 300m SW

Or you can take the bus #28 from metro station Pushkinskaya (Пушкинская) (2nd (red) line) to aforementioned Povorot na Malinovku stop

The fastest option is to take Marshrutka #1155, #1112 from the Moskovskaya stop (near the metro station Instytut Kul'tyry) to the Fakultet Radiofiziki (Факультет Радиофизики) stop and walk ~300m W and cross the road
