Minnesota

Minnesota is a state in the north-central United States, bordering Wisconsin to the east, Iowa to the south, North and South Dakota to the west, and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Manitoba to the north.

The primary metropolitan area in Minnesota consists of the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. These cities can be somewhat difficult hitching out of. Make sure especially to avoid I-35 in the area around the airport at the southern edge of town; the cops there have a tendency to arrest hitchers on flimsy homeland security pretexts.
