Minneapolis is a traveler-oriented town. Evidence Hard Times Cafe, a crustpunk diner where you're sure to see hitching and trainhopping folk.
Hitching shouldn't be difficult near the university. If you're headed north, stand on the southwest corner of the intersection of SE 4th St and 9th Ave (?--not sure name of road that runs parallel and west of 35W). Cars stopped at the light will have time to pick you up. trash:Minneapolis
