The best option in direction North or East is to get to Rasthof Pfefferhöhe near Alsfeld. If you have a "Semesterticket", you might want to consider taking the train/bus to Alsfeld, although it should be possible to get to the petrol station hitchhiking along the B62 within one hour. It is also possible to use the spot to get in direction South, but in case you have a "Semesterticket" it should be much faster to take a train to Bickenbach
