Hitchhiker's Guide to Hitchhiking is a collaborative project to build a guide for hitchhikers. It's a compilation of tips about good spots to hitchhike, info about hitchhiking in different countries, general knowhow about what to pack and when to go, what to eat and how to stay safe. So far we have 3,857 destination guides and other articles written and edited by hitchhikers from around the globe.

About

This project was inspired by Wikipedia and by Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: a Wiki to gather information about hitchhiking. As a hitchhiker you're encouraged to not only read the guide, but also to contribute. Every visitor can add her knowledge by improving existing pages and adding new ones!

How to contribute

Just click edit, make your changes and click Save page. A good article to start editing or writing is probably your home town. To create new articles you can add [[ and ]] around the title of the new article, in some other article or on your user page, save the page and then click on the red link. Be bold about editing, just do it!
