Louvain-la-Neuve is a little Belgian city between Brussels and Namur, on the E411 highway. There are a lot of possible destinations from Louvain-la-Neuve (e.g. : Brussel, Namur and Luxemburg by E411 highway, Mons, Paris via Nivelle by RN25 highway). There are two main hitchhike spot in LLN : the first is on the beginning of the RN25 and the second is one of the best spot i ever saw, on the "Esplanade"-cross-point, to go on the E411 highway.

If you want sleep in a hostel it is possible. There is a inn near the city-center who called "le relais". For ones who have much more money there is another hotel : the "hotel mercure".

Louvain-la-Neuve is a town build around the Université Catholique de Louvain. There are around 15.000 peoples who lives there and around 20.000 who studies. The city-center is only made for pedestrians. If you stay during the week (exept during the holidays) you will discover the incredible student-parties. One beer cost around 0.80€ in the "cercles" (students pubs).
