Hitching out
With the A2 (Ruhr Area - Berlin) and the A44 (Dortmund - Kassel), there are two motorways nearby, but none of them goes close to the city. You can either hitch on the end of the city or, more convinient, take public transport to the next cities.
For the A44 head by train to Soest
